V111 - 30K Mile review
Installed this V111 natural finish in my 1995 FXSTC. It's been 4 yrs and 30k miles on it. Overall this engine has the power you need without being obnoxiously over powered. Great upgrade for sure. I'm 6.1 and 260lbs, and no issue with passenger going up hill. The gas milage is freaking awesome with about 35 to 40mpg if you keep it under 85mph. One thing on this engine is you do have to warm this sucker up for a good 5 to 7 min when cold and run over 2700rpm at all times. This was a bit weird to get used to but S&S recommends it and it keeps you ready to pop the throttle when needed. Oh by the way getting to 120mph is very easy lol.
