They say it is recommended for lighter bikes, BUT, I have installed quite a few in 96" & 103" Touring models and the GUYS LOVE THEM!! Seems to pull a little harder at the lower RPMs than the MR103(which I Love). Highly recommend with a PowerVision download and Auto-Tune, You'll be Set!!

Put the 551G EZ start cams in my 2006 FLHT with S&S 97" Big Bore kit and stock heads. Excellent cam for touring bikes, all the power is right where you use it the most. I haven't experienced any issue's with pinging with these cams and my compression ratio of 9.7 : 1. The EZ start feature works extremely well and adjusting the pushrods is easy just follow the directions.
